Welcome to Modbury, a heritage market town that is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

FISHING

The angler will find a great variety of waters in and around Modbury, from moorland streams to stocked trout and coarse lakes filled with Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Rainbow and Brown trout.
The sea fishing is some of the best in the country, with Sea Bass, Mackerel and Gar fish providing excellent sport.
Shark fishing, with a Great White caught last year, is an increasingly popular sport. Over 40 varieties of shark pass through Devon's waters during the year
